Fascia-A Universe Within

80% of the human population experiences chronic pain at any one time. At the root of the physical expression of this pain is an embedded emotional, spiritual, and mental energy pattern that is coiled within the connective tissue that lubricates, organizes, and binds all of the physiological structures within the body. This tissue is named ‘Fascia’ - a Latin word meaning ‘band’ or ‘bandage’.

The 7 elements of MER

What is the Myofascial Energetic Release Training?

What is the Myofascial Energetic Release Training?

In the Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) Training, you will learn the art and science of providing deep bodywork with assisted stretches, myofascial unwinding, joint mobilization, trauma and emotional awareness with release. Your master teacher, Satyarthi Peloquin, possesses 50 years of experience as a therapist and trainers.

Objective of MER

The objective of MER is for you to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to successfully root yourself into your own personal experience of MER. In turn, you will skillfully facilitate a transformational experience with your clients and create a thriving practice.

The Main Cause of Pain

The main cause of pain and tension in the body is over-contraction of the five types of soft tissue: Muscle, fascia, skin, ligament, and nerves. This chronic tension blocks blood circulation, oxygen, and vital energy to these soft, sensitive tissues.

Skillful Approach

As you learn how to firmly and gently open the body’s deeper soft tissue layers, you encounter stuck energy in the form of shortened, hardened tissue. You will master how to skillfully apply sensitive deep touch to release these energy blocks.

Empowering Clients

This touch, in alignment with the Pro-Active Participation of the client’s deep breathing and your verbal cues, allows your client to develop awareness of the cause of pain.

Treating the Whole Person

In the training, you will learn to activate the body’s natural ability for self-regulation and healing, giving your client profound and lasting relief from pain.

Myofascial Energetic Release Session

The goal of a Myofascial Energetic Release session is to relieve pain, restore physical function, and achieve balance between the body and mind, allowing the client to lead a full, active life.

MER Students Reflections and Experiences of MER Training...

MER Students Reflections and Experiences of MER Training...

Satyarthi Peloquin is one of the most Holistic teachers in the field of Myofascial Release work. I have been studying with him for a few years and his teaching elevated my skills tremendously. Satyarthi brings complete understanding to the body, understanding not only of physiological and fascial anatomy but bringing depth of energetic and emotional fluidity, which results in amazing long lasting improvement for the clients.

Nisarga Eryk Dobosz,
Greece

I have experienced Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) as a very powerful method of connecting with my body and emotions. Although the bodywork method is deep the therapist is in communication and is continuously adjusting the pressure to what you feel comfortable with. The sessions help me integrate everything that is happening in my body. They help me to experience and let go of emotions, in a way that new insights and trauma release happens.

Rick Schifferstein,
USA

Satyarthi embodies a keen knowledge of the workings of the human body as well as deep understanding of the bioenergetics. This in knowledge and understanding in combination with silence of a mediator creates one of the most profound, effective, intelligent and healing bodywork modalities.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any pre-requisite knowledge or experience required to participate in the training?

You can start as a beginner in this area. After completing the program you will have all the tools you need to start to work with people in a profound way. If you already work with clients you will enrich your work with new tools and approaches.

What is the overall structure and duration of the training program?

There are 6 obligatory modules to complete the certification program, plus 1 optional module named “Trauma release” that you can do if you are interested by this aspect of the work. You can also do each module in a different location.

In between modules you need to practice by doing free sessions and it is advised to read recommended books and use other resources (films, programs etc). The duration of the training program depends on how often you are ready and able to attend the 6 or 7 modules.

Participants work in pairs, engaging in a reciprocal exchange where they learn through both giving bodywork and receiving feedback. They also receive sessions to integrate their experience, undergo personal processing, and understand the appropriate technique.

There is opportunity for individualized instruction because Satyarthi - after showing the demo - walks from table to table and supervises and teaches individually. There are also many assistants that support all practitioners in their learning and inner processes.

Are there any opportunities for continuing education or advanced training after completing the initial program?

After completing the 6 mandatory modules, you will receive a certification of completion indicating the number of hours of training done. You will get also another certificate after completing the 7th module if you choose to do it.

How does the training integrate theory and practical application, and what resources or materials are provided to support learning?

During each module there are lectures where Satyarthi gives some theoretical knowledge and shares his rich experience. He concentrates on what is the most important with mindful work with a client and gives many necessary hints. He recommends many other resources so that you can also learn in between trainings. This knowledge is then introduced into practice during the training under his supervision.

Before each exchange session he explains important issues in the demo. The demos are recorded and sent to all participants after each module so that they can continue learning at home.

You will also receive printed manuals with pictures and descriptions of strokes and theory and the list of recommended resources.

Is there ongoing support or a community available to graduates of the training for networking, mentorship, or further learning?
 • The main place where MER community gather is a group on Facebook that is forum where practitioners exchange their experience, can ask questions and are informed about important issues and organized events.
 • A whatsapp group is created after each module in France, Greece and England for the participants to stay in touch and support each other.
 • From time to time there are organized exchange workshops where practitioners can exchange sessions and learn from each other.
 • We are developing the Treatment Center in Greece where practitioners can come and work with us under the supervision.
What are the potential career opportunities or pathways for individuals who complete the training?

Many people who complete the course start their own practice, they open their body work rooms or work in other places dedicated to bodywork like clinics, retreat centers, treatment centers etc.

We are developing the Treatment Center in Greece where practitioners can come and work with us and clients from all the world can come and receive MER sessions.
